Historical decision in favor of unemployed borrower

From the Larisa county court

 

With an historic decision that creates new data the county court of Larissa erased the entire debt of an unemployed female borrower (26.179,65 euros).

The decision is particularly important as it dismissed the claims of the banks that the borrower does not specify where she finds the money for the cost of living of her and her family, although the data of the permanent inability to pay and all other necessary documents are contained in the file of the application.

It’s worth noting that suchlike decisions have increased lately, erasing about 50-60% of the debt. But this is the first time that a court decision provides for a total debt elimination.

The Citizen’s Movement of Larissa Borrowers and INKA/General Federation of Consumers undertook the defense of the female borrower.
