The newspaper says a 10-page debt sustainability analysis circulated to European ministers last week suggests the EUR130 billion rescue deal hammered out in marathon talks in Brussels earlier Tuesday may not be enough to solve Greece΄s debt crisis.
In a “tailored downside scenario,” Greece may need as much as EUR245 billion of official support, according to the document, the paper reports.
“Prolonged financial support on appropriate terms by the official sector may be necessary,” the reports says, according to the FT.
