Ice Weather Front with Freezing Temperatures Reaches Greece

A cold weather front with freezing temperatures and snow falls has reached Greece. in the last hours. The snow falls caused many problems in the road networks in Northern Greece and Peloponnese. The cold weather coming form Russia will remain in Greece for a couple of days. The winds will be blowing with an intensity of 7 Beaufort. Rain will fall in the South and snow in the mountainous and hilly parts of the country. Temperatures will fall below zero.
For Athens, meteorologists forecast even snow in the city centre and temperatures of even -2 and -4 degrees Celsius.
