Bad weather all over Greece

The wave of bad weather that has hit the entire country since Saturday is expected to last throughout the week. Bitter cold, cloud, rain and snowfall on high ground are expected throughout the weekend.
Rain and snowfall are expected in Macedonia, Thessaly, Eastern Sterea and Peloponnese, as well as in the Sporades, Euboea, the Cyclades and Crete. The showers will be stronger in the mountain regions of northern Greece and Epirus.
As of Sunday, the sleet of snow will be
disseminated throughout the country, while snowfall in northern regions and on high ground will be more intense. Arctic temperatures are expected throughout the week, characterised by snowfall even in lowland areas, as well as stormy winds in the Aegean. Snow will even fall in the coastal regions of eastern Peloponnese and the centre of Athens. According to current prognostic data, snowfall in the city of Athens will be light.
There is great chance that the weather conditions will deteriorate further as of next Thursday.
