Travel Advice to Australian Travelers in Athens Due to Possible Riots

Concerns over possible riots during the commemorative events for March 25 in Greece shook the Australian government, according to neoskosmos.com.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revised its travel advice for Greece and warned Australian citizens that are presently in Athens to be highly careful as “6.000 police officers have  been mobilized in Athens following the mandate to assure the problem-free conduction of the student parade on the 14th and the military parade on the 25th of March.”
The advisory remains in general the same, but it’s being restated that a lot of riots have occured in Greece lately. Australians should avoid them because “some of them might turn really violent.”
