What a weather! Rain, rain and rain. And wind,
wind and wind! Stormy winds are blowing with an intensity of 8 Beaufort
locally causing problems in the sea transport. Quite some ferries
heading to the Cyclades islands had to remain docked at Piraeus port
this morning.The morning storm that hit Attica prefecture caused many traffic problems to Athenians driving to work.
There are reports that streets were flooded especially in the south suburbs of Athens.
The extreme weather phenomena, which are rare for the season, are expected to abate in the evening. Weather forecasters speak of rising temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius and sun shine on Thursday
