German Activists Protest Outside Their Embassy in Athens

At 4pm on Thursday, German activists protested outside their Embassy in Athens. They had some placards suspended, with slogans against their country’s policy.
13 protesters were adduced by policemen, together with three photojournalists of different news agencies, one of which works for the Athens News Agency. The journalists were there to report on the demonstration.
Activists showed their opposition to Chancellor Angela Merkel and the banks concerning the financial crisis by leaving a gift on the Embassy’s front door – a box containing a perfect model of a human excrement.
No official statement has yet to be released by the Chief of the Hellenic Police or the Minister of Citizen Protection in regards to the arrests.
