Greek Tourism Successfully Promoted in Sydney Holiday and Travel Show 2012

The tourist exhibition Sydney Holiday & Travel Show, which takes place annually in the big Australian city, was successfully completed during the past weekend (March 24-25).
The Australian visitors exhibited great interest for the info point of the Greek National Tourism Organization, which functioned in collaboration with the district of the Ionian Islands (Corfu, Paxos, Lefkas, Meganissi, Cephalonia, Ithaca and Zakynthos) and the travel agency Travel Plan.
Dozens of tourist leaflets were distributed to Australian visitors and Greece was once again successfully promoted by the Greek National Tourism Organization.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, ABS, the tourist mobility from Australia to Greece in 2011 was increased by 9.85% compared to 2010.
