“Lygistis” Wooden Experimental Aircraft Made in Florina, Greece

American companies have expressed interest in commercially using an aircraft that was designed and built in Florina of Northern Greece.
The man who constructed this aircraft is the chairman of the Aeroclub in Florina, Giorgos Iliopoulos.
Iliopoulos managed to create his first wooden aircraft with recycled materials such as old furniture and a wheelchair.
The Lygistis aircraft was fortunately completed, and Iliopoulos knew that his dream had come true. But he decided to construct another aircraft that he later managed to modify, so that the new aircraft called ‘Archon’ can fly like an average plane.

‘Archon’ looks like a fighter aircraft and has gained much attention from American companies that want it for commercial use.
Giorgos Iliopoulos stated that since his childhood he has been interested in planes, and lately has started to construct aircraft on the computer.
