Corinth-Patras highway closed until Saturday

Due to the recent downpour- no tolls will be collected

 

 

The Corinth-Patras highway will be closed until Saturday the 11th of February due to rock falls in Diakopto after the heavy downpours that occurred the last 24hours.

As announced by Olympia Street, which manages the project, there is every effort being made by the construction site located on the highway, despite the adverse weather conditions, to complete all necessary work until Saturday at noon.

Traffic during this time will be diverted from the nodes of Kalavryta and eastern Aigion in the Old National Road of Corinth-Patras.

Throughout the blockade there will be no toll stations collected in Rio and Zevgolatio.

Drivers are requested to exercise increased caution when transiting the area of detours, to comply with the suggestions of police officers and to be patient in case of delays.
