Temperature: -5-10C, 4-5C lower in western Macedonia.
Ionian, Epirus, the western mainland and western Peloponnisos
Weather: overcast, with rainfall and storms in the afternoon. Snowfall in the mountains
Winds: southerly 3-5B, southeasterly up to 6 in the Ionian.
Temperature: 3-13C, 5C lower in Epirus.
Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia and eastern Peloponnisos

On New Year’s Eve, there will be clouds all across the country, with storms in the seas. Snowfall is expected in western Macedonia and Epirus. The phenomena will weaken in the afternoon. Winds will blow northerly between 4-6B, 7B in the seas. Temperatures will drop slightly across the country.
On New Year’s day, there will be clouds in the eastern islands, with a chance of precipitation. Slight snowfall is expected in Crete, but the weather will improve gradually. In the rest of the country the weather will be fair. Northerly winds between 4-6B will prevail. Temperatures will drop further to the east. Frost is expected on the mainland at night and early in the morning.
