Costa Navarino's Navarino Icons range debuts at the iconic Harrods

Costa Navarino, the prime sustainable destination in Messinia, southwest Peloponnese, Greece, is introducing in the UK, the series of high quality products Navarino Icons. Inspired by the history and culture of the region, the collection that aims to acquaint people with the rich Messinian culture and its diverse palate of flavours, is now available at Harrods, London’s largest luxury and most prestigious department store.

The Navarino Icons range draws on the area’s age-long traditions and is aligned with Costa Navarino’s philosophy to promote this undiscovered yet accessible part of Greece, while protecting and preserving its natural beauty and heritage. Navarino Icons reflects the desire to acquaint people with the region’s rich living history and promote its authentic characteristics worldwide.
The food products of the series have been created from recipes handed down through generations, honouring the region’s culinary heritage and using the highest quality natural ingredients, without preservatives, additives or artificial colourings.

Harrods has embodied opulence, grandeur and premium retail service since it opened in 1834. The food halls at Harrods are renowned for stocking the best products the culinary world has to offer, both from its own kitchens to premium brands from around the globe, creating a perfect synergy with the Navarino Icons products.

A fine selection of Navarino Icons products available at Harrods currently includes both savoury and sweet flavours: Extra Virgin Olive Oil made from the acclaimed Koroneiki variety olives that grow in Costa Navarino’s seaside groves; Olives, of the celebrated Kalamon variety, which are carefully gathered by hand from centuries-old trees and packed in  Navarino Icons Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Extra Virgin Vinegar with Rosemary & Thyme, which is produced from a superior local variety of sun-dried grapes; Sea Salt with Rosemary that is hand harvested the traditional way; Grapemust (also known as Petimezi), made from 100% Chardonnay Grapes, an all-natural, sweet, unfermented syrup; traditional Olive Spoon Sweet, combining the classic flavor of the famous Kalamon olives with almonds, fresh herbs and honey.
