A new attempt for a spectacular escape from prison

By  GRReporter

A helicopter landed on the roof of Trikala Prison to take recidivist Panagiotis Vlastos, but a fierce gunfight with the police prevented the escape. Panagiotis Vlastos himself was shot in the legs and was admitted to the prison's infirmary. He has asked to be transferred to the city hospital.
The pilot of the helicopter and his three companions were arrested by the police. Two of them are of Albanian origin.

A week ago, it became clear that the terrorists from the organisation Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei were preparing similar plans for their comrades in prison. And, in 2006 and 2009, another old acquaintances, Vassilis Paleokostas and Alket Rizaj, used the same method in order to escape from prison.
Panagiotis Vlastos is serving a sentence for dozens of felonies, including the kidnapping of shipping tycoon Pericles Panagopoulos in January 2009.
Expect further details.
