Six-Metre-Long Shark Caught by Fishermen of Evia

Until today, Greek fishermen used to shout early in the morning what they had caught during the night: Sardines, shrimps and sometimes sepia! But now, fishermen of Evia have something extra to shout about for their customers– they caught a six-metre-long shark close to the Kymi area.
Their special “good” weighs almost a ton. For everyone on the island this was a fascinating catch since Greeks are not used to stray meetings with sharks and usually watch them in Hollywood movies only.
This is the first time that fishermen of Kymi caught such a big “fish” and plenty of locals rushed to take photographs of the dead shark. It was one of the hot news today all around Kymi and the broader region.
As for the lucky fishermen, they will sell it in the local market, cut in pieces at a good price so that local taverns or individuals have a chance to taste this rare dish. But who knows how to cook a shark in Greece, I wonder? Recipes available online will go be fire for the next few days!
