The director of comedy horror, the master of film surrealism
Tim Burton chose the beautiful island of Corfu for his summer vacation.
Together with his wife, famous actor Helena Bonham Carter, Burton
arrived at the island’s airport over the week end and he is reportedly
to stay there for a couple of weeks.Local news portal Corfuland.gr reports that the pair has rented a villa and that they will stay there until the end of August.
The Greek economic crisis and the amazing landscape of Corfu may inspire him for sequels to films like “Planet of Euro-Apes”, “Nightmare Before Euro-Collapse”, “Schaeuble Shiccorhands”, “Sweetie Angie: The Demon Lady of Euro Street”. Or for a total new film like “Juice-Drained Greeks”… We’re gothic in our way, anyway
