Mythos Brewery Exports Increase by 35%

Mythos Brewery saw an increase in exports by 35% in 2011, according to Beverage Manager.
The brewery is the second largest in Greece and is part of the Carlsberg group, with their main production plant located in Thessaloniki. The company has expanded their products into new markets and now has presence in over 40 countries worldwide.
As part of the increase, Mythos started exporting to more states across the U.S., and in addition to developing its relationship with an exclusive distributor in Australia – Premium Beverage – they have formed an agreement with House of Beer, which will assist in their expansion into the German market.
Best known for its lager beer Mythos, which was developed in 1997 and acknowledged in 2001 with an award at the Interbeer International Beer and Whiskey Competition, the company also produces the German Henninger lager and Kaiser pilsener.
