Corfu Beer Awarded by Famous British Pub Company Wetherspoon

The Corfu beer “Koroibos Ale” produced by the Corfiot Brewery excelled in an international taste test, organized by the British pub company Wetherspoon, in cooperation with hundreds of pubs all over the UK.
Koroibos Ale beer will be Wetherspoon’s official beer till the end of the London Olympic Games. The Corfu beer was named after the runner Koroibos who took part in the first ancient Olympics in 776 BC.
Koroibos Ale beer is a 100% natural product and is completely different from common beers. It contains pure ingredients such as hops, yeast and water. The beer brewing process follows an old traditional recipe since 1970 while its fermentation lasts several weeks without adding chemical substances or food coloring.
The small but modern brewery company is located in Arilla area on Corfu. It produces Ionian Epos, Real Ale Bitter, Real Ale Special, Royal Ionian Pilsner and Ionian Gold beers as well.
