
The majority of Greek policemen in Athens voted for
extreme-right Chrysi Avgi (Golden Dawn). “More than one out of two

days after June 17/2012 elections, describing the finding as
“impressive”. These findings emerged after analyzing elections results
in voting centres of Greece’ capital Athens. Especially in the district
of Ampelokipoi and suburb of Kaisariani, where approximately 5,000
policemen casted their votes.In these voting centres, Chrysi Avgi got its highest rates from 17.2% up to 23.04%.In Athens districts with high percentage of illegal immigrants like
Agios Panteleimonas and Kypseli, Chrysi Avgi got rates from 15% up to
18%.Policemen who casted their votes in favor of Chrysi Avgi work at the
General Police Department of Attica, the motorbiked units DIAS, the
Security Department and else where, notes Proto Thema.
