The Movement “I Am Greek and I Wanna Go Home” Gains Popularity

That’s the slogan and the key message sent to everyone through the Internet by the Independent voluntary movement that aims at the repatriation of the abducted Greek antiquities that are illegally being detained away from Greece.
Inspirer and creator is the composer and photographer Ares Kalogeropoulos who works in Oldenburg in Northern Germany.
This independent movement gained thousands of supporters on the Internet, and was initiated through Facebook, by the staff Profile of Ares Kalogeropoulos.
The message “I AM GREEK AND I WANNA GO HOME”
and the aesthetic of the accompanying images were created in order to appeal to the emotion of the message’s recipients within and outside Greece. For that reason it’s also been translated to English. “The second message accompanying this movement is: “Our Budget is our Love”, which clearly states that only through our love for Greece and our common goal can this movement travel outside funding and support fund issues.”
