4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Corfu and Igoumenitsa

Αn earthquake was felt at about 8am on Sunday on the island of Corfu and nearby port-city Igoumenitsa.
Geology Professor Efthymios Lekkas told private channel SKAI that the tremor measured 4.5 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake had a shallow focal depth and therefore, citizens felt the quake was particularly strong. No damages have been reported so far.
