Young corfiot Eleni Doika qualifies for London Olynpics 2012 in rhythmic gymnastics

Young corfiot Eleni Doika will be the second athlete, after top swimmer Spiros Gianniotis, who will be representing the island in Olympic games, as she qualified for London Olympics  finals 2012, in rhythmic gymnastics, with Greek Team Ensemble, among Stavroula Samara , Marianthi Zafeiriou, Vasileia Zachou, Alexia Kyriazi and Evdokia   Loukagou in test event in  London .

The test event took place at North Greenwich Arena London 16th-18th of January 2012 and the Greek team finished 4rth out of ten teams, with eight of them qualifying.


British team just managed 9th place and they'll watch the finals on television.
